GP Registrars
Our GP Registrars are fully qualified doctors who have already worked for several years in Hospitals and are completing their training prior to becoming full-time General Practitioners. They provide care of the same standard provided by the other doctors at Talbot Medical Centre at all times. GP Registrars are usually with us for six months or a year and many of our permanent doctors previously worked as Registrars at the practice.

Community Nurses
Community Nurses provide nursing care and treatment for people with complex, long-term conditions in their own homes. Our community nursing teams support house-bound residents with a wide range of mental and physical health needs, from wound management and diabetes to kidney failure and heart or lung conditions.
Health Visitors
The Health Visitors are responsible as a first point of contact for expectant mothers and children up to five years old, including routine health screening such as development checks at 10-12 months and newborn hearing tests.
